severe V11-Motor damage

My 2002 V11 Lemans is in repair - again. I had a damaged motor on the Autobahn while i drove 200km/h. I will report, what happened.

Most important is that you to be O.K.

Don't worry about the ''metals'' they can always be repaired to new condition.

So write the when .what , how, latter on.

what happened ? Gee, riding at 200 kmh and having your engien dying below you must be quite horrific...

I will know details next week. Engine was still running on one cylinderm but the sound was horrible. So i could manage to roll out...

Perhaps valves,valve guides started from. . I don't know it is just a guess and is usseles ,so,lets see.

Loud knocking noise before it stopped running on one cylinder? If so it's probably run it's big ends due to oil starvation from a loose filter or pick-up exposure.

I am shure Roland Däs will fix it. Thank god, my V11 is still in warranty.
