edge Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 My brother passed this site on to me and I do not remember if it has been posted here already but it is worth the visit. Although a bit of a graphic reality check of what lies out there there is something to be learned here. Having been downed by a SUV a couple of years ago, I get it, and remember everyday http://home1.gte.net/res0ak9f/bike.htm ride safe MG brothers, Edge
Richard Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I love the way that the last thing on the page is "Become an Organ donar today"
soloNH Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Check out the stats. showing impact areas on helmets. 44.5% are in the face shield and jaw area. Love my full face helmet even more now!
callison Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 My vanpool went by this incident shortly after it happened. Basically, the local (and very unsympathetic to motorcyclists) court said the fault was the motorcyclists.
g.forrest Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 it's best to be reminded of these things and be constantly aware and alert.
Steve G. Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I've seen this site before, kind of pisses me off actually. It does not clarify [and I realise it might be tough] the incidents of rider irrisponsibility, like the Castrol Honda RC51 piling into the side of the car at over 200 kms/hr. Charles Darwin has a hand in those incidents, which I feel are fully 70% of those pictures. Ciao, Steve
DeBenGuzzi Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Well I WAS thinking of getting a Ducati. not to make light but what mod would this be?
