Martin Barrett Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 inner pane that attatches to the normal visor by pins into two little holes in the normal visor - gives you double glazing on part of the visor http://www.pinlock.com/
Guest Nogbad Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 My helmet is ready for a new visor, so I think it will be a Pinlock. Seems more positive than stick ons like Fog City. Interesting responses. Wet weather is a perennial problem, but if the statistics are to be believed, you are less likely to have a fatal off in the winter! I have a couple of pairs of gloves with a rubber blade sewn into the left thumb. These are excellent for visor wiping, but as Martin says if it's semi-damp and grimy you need a different method.
soloNH Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Just found out that HJC makes a electric anti fog device that has been popular with snowmobilers and they are available for cycle helmets as well. Street price is about $80.00 US If anyone is interested I can research it further as the place I work for now is a HJC dealer.
