Colorado to New Orleans

2000 sport. Taking off sometime early next week 10/23-24. No strict schedule but need to be at a New Orleans scooter rally by the weekend (my other bikes are Lambrettas)

 

Will be my first longer trip on a "real bike". Do routine 600-1200 milers on an 80's Vespa.

The guzzi fits the stable. Have been on it nearly daily since bringing it home in June. Comfortable with it.

 

Thought I'd try to stay a bit south for a weather break. Snow here, but roads are clear.

 

Just checking in here for any tips.

My scooter community keeps cellphone contact. They're used to my solo trips and forgive me for crossing over to The Dark Side (motorcycle). heh.
