Clutch Rattle

I'm the guy who was asking about a comparison of a T-3 to a V11 sport. I rode it tonight and think I'm going to buy it. The PO said he's had the factory recalls done, but I noticed the clutch rattling when I engaged. Is this normal? It sounded just like a Ducati's rattling clutch. Should I be concerned?

One of the first noticeable features of the bike is its rattly dry clutch. Don't be concerned, as it's normal. What year is it? The single plate circa 2002 bikes clatter when clutch is engaged, the others when clutch is disengaged.

Edit: looks like it's 2000. So then, it will be noisy when you pull the lever in?
