when you replace the rear wheel bearings, do you have to use the special c3bearings? I just went to the hardware store buying them but I don't see the c3mark on the bearing. it just says 6204-2rsh. can I put them in or not? greatings from bruges, pille

now the v11 has 42000km. on the clock. I don't know if this is the first time the bearings will be replaced, because i'm not the first owner. i didn't know they were bad until I had a flat tyre! thank you for reacting, polegato! ciao, pille

:mg: Hi Pille, the normal life for the rear bearings is around 20-25.000 kolometers for the original equipments, with the new set i think you eating more Km. The front wheel bearings have a long life. Ciao Giovanni :helmet:

Aren't the bearings meant to be C3

having slightly larger clearance than standard?

Also, as the bike is from the infamous 2002 period and past history isn't known, it's possible that it could have the mis-sized axle spacer that has caused wheel bearings to expire prematurely – within a few thousand miles rather than 20,000 miles. :(

SKF (if you can get 'em) 6204-2RS1(or H or L)/C3
