ALdad Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Well after lusting for a couple of years I picked up a 2000 green sport this week end.It has not been registerd since 04 so I can't ride it other then in my neighbor hood until I git to the DMV. I must say this is a cool bike. Smoother tranni and less vibes than my monster. Thanx to all for input into feeling secure with this decision to purchase an obscure luminecent green italian with big jugs . First it will get a stuchi xpipe and mistral cans. then off to GP cycles in SD for the recall. My Questions for noware. (1) Peg lowering kit from Evoluzion cycles ,posted on this site, not available any more any other suggestions ? (2) is there any differance in preformance or sound between the round and the oval mistrals , which look best. More questions later. Cheer!! Alan
Wick Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Check with Greg Field at Moto International regarding the peg lowering parts they have available. You won't like the Evo kit (if you can find one) unless your feet are 16+ and you don't mind having your heels touching the exhaust pipe. Also, be advised that you may find that changing the pegs may increase the load on your wrists due to the change in ergos. ymmv. I'm happy with M4 pipes and the stock cross-over for sound and power. They are ovals. Wick
JoeV11 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 You can try the Buell footpegs. I have a pair, but haven't installed them, still waiting for the springs and pin. Have fun, Joe
