Steve G. Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 A tough call for me. I've ridden an RGS with the 120 engine, very sweet, and unique styling. But the 180 Jota stirres the soul like nothing else. The sound it makes is very emotional, even at idle, it is well and truly alive!! Ciao, Steve

Guzzirider Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I've plumped for the Lemon V- it is an underated bike ignored by many of the Tonti snobs because of the plasticky modern (at the time) look. In reality it goes really well and is not too much slower than a V11, plus the great thing is that they are half the price of a Lemon 1 or 2. Big valves and 40mm dellortos add up to a rorty experience and they sound great with Mistrals- at around £1500 for a private buy, a Guzzi bargain. Guy
Guzzirider Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Moto Guzzi LeMans V Being pedantic here, Jim but I think that is a Lemon IV- is that a 16" front wheel? Nice bike though!! Guy
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted November 2, 2006 Author Posted November 2, 2006 Google never lies so it's got to be a LeMans V. Laverda RGS
Alex-Corsa Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Google never lies so it's got to be a LeMans V. Dunno if google lies but according to my Guzzi books it is correctly as Guzzirider said a Leman IV The V had 18'' wheels both front and back. This is a Leman-5
