Alex-Corsa Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Excellent! I might have to put that in my sig. sometime. In fact, can I try it now? Ok, nice. I've got space for one more special and inspirational quotation. Anyone? Can give you some ideas, in which field you think of?
belfastguzzi Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 Can give you some ideas, in which field you think of? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.........something related to machinery, preferably motorbikes or time
Frenchbob Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 allegedly those names are clearly made-up So you would love to believe.
belfastguzzi Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 So you would love to believe. I'd love to believe that Jeremy Clarkson is made-up. A figment.
Frenchbob Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Oh, I don't know. Clarkson is usually comprehensible.........and occasionally funny.
Alex-Corsa Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Hmmmmmmmmmmmm or time Got this on my sig The greatest luxury in life is time.Savour every second. If you kike it you can use it too, I"ll keep it for a while
mike wilson Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I'd love to believe that Jeremy Clarkson is made-up. A figment. NOT a figment. A (dramatic pause stretched out to the bounds of credulity) Neanderthal.

If you kike it you can use it too, I"ll keep it for a while Thanks, much appreciated, but you are confusing 'time' with 'buttery mashed potatoes'. I'm still open to other suggestions
mike wilson Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 For the greatest luxury in life? That would be working Italian electrics.
belfastguzzi Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 For the greatest luxury in life? No: – other inspiring quotations/sayings/phrases, as I've got a free space in my sig. It's a void that needs filled. And Alex could be the man to do it. Watch what you say. I quite like this extract, "If you kike it you can use it" but really there has to be something more. A typo only goes so far, when it comes to filling life's empty voids.

Time is luxury, especially when one can do the right thing with it, anyways. Ok check this one . A rich man can be an example fot the poor, but the poor serve as a warning for the rich motoring : Bulky motor, packs more meat than butchers' shop
belfastguzzi Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 Time is luxury, especially when one can do the right thing with it, anyways. It's a difficult choice, I grant you: time – or mashed potatoes? I can't decide which is more of a luxury but time must be more of a mystery – more people every day must ask, what time is it? than people who ask, what potatoe is that? however it's easier to identify the correct time (people can, for example, log into V.11 Lemans.com and check the handy forum clock) than it is to identify the precise potatoe (for instance, this forum gives no help at all, well, apart from a few pictures of the 1200s potatoe) so, something to ponder

Frenchbob Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 "Time has told me Not to ask for more" Not Jeremy Clarkson. You old hippy! [i like the music of Nick Drake, too]
