:helmet: Hi all, this afternoon I've installed on my Tenni the Guzzi Racing Kit ECU also with Magni pipes and no question, more power and torque at all revs.

Now my question is: Is a good job a Power Commander with a Racing ECU or the PC III is good only with the original one?

Cheers

I guess it all depends the mapping of the PC3 and the Racing ECu ,If the ECU is specially developed for this set up , just leave it on and save the hassele of new mapping on a PC3.Or you can try fitting it and see which mapping the bike rides and behaves better.Even more you can fit an AFR system at the bike and document what and how is it going on.

The PCIII will work with either one but if you download a map for the stock ECU it will not likely be appropriate for the Racing ECU so make sure you start off with a ZERO map and any changes will either require a dynomometer test session or else you can try small changes on your own with seat of the pants testing but I do not reccomend the latter.

There may be some PCIII maps out there for the Racing ECU but I am not aware of any myself. Perhaps GuzziTech or some similar group have some information about this situation.

It looks there are one or two for the titanium kit ECU.

There are more maps available for the OEM ECU, but the the map you need will probably be there for you to match the Ti racing kit ECU.

I would not be surprised if Todd Eagan at GuzziTech has more Ti racing maps than are posted there, but for obvious reasons, he prefers to share them with people who bought the PCIII from him. He makes a small profit on the PCIII and has put many hours into developing maps, etc. So, if you haven't bought a PCIII yet, he is the most knowledgeable supplier.

You mean maps for the Ti exhaust set because the ECU whatever it may be it is sort of bypasse from the PCIII so it doesn't play any role,or?.

Take care though that better mapping is done on any bike it's self AND mapping directed for USA users have different affect (more rich) than a map one could use here in Europe because of the different gasoline standards. So too rich = less HP as well. Much less as i one is a bit leaner

The ECU still plays a roll, and the difference between the OEM and the Ti ECU is pretty significant.

I imagine the Magni mufflers flow quite a bit differently, so yah, the posted maps probably will be abit off and more likely in the rich direction as you suggested. Still I think the PCIII Ti maps on that site are worth a try as a starting point for tuning, and if Todd has a more appropriate map, that would be better.
