slowkitty Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Hiya ... it's my first post!!! I am eyeing a V11 Scura which had suffered some crash damage; and so the first task of ownership would be to locate a online parts dealer. Coming from a flat-twin background, BMW bikes enjoy wide parts availablility and I know that with MG, I will have to work harder. So far I have tracked down Stein-Dinse in Australia. The damaged parts are: 01 94 10 30 - Spark plug cover 01 66 01 40 - Brake control lever with pump 01 67 70 60 - Brake control lever (pedal) 01 60 28 30 - Counterweight (bar end) If anyone has a spare set for sale, do feel free to PM me. Cheers Cat
guzziownr Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I was just looking at this site the other day, no experience with them: http://www.rebootguzzispares.com/index.htm...frame.htm&2 Round up the usual suspects: http://www.tlm.nl/ http://www.mgcycle.com http://www.agostiniduilio.com/ Plenty of dealings with the above and no disappointments in 15 short years. docc Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Who is the Guzzi dealer in Germany that bought up all Piaggio's spares?
slowkitty Posted November 23, 2006 Author Posted November 23, 2006 Feeling kinda dumb .. juz realised that I have taken the part numbers from an online V11 Sport / Le Mans catalogue .... Do these bikes and the Scura share the same parts? Cheers Cat

Cheers Cat You can add the site sponsors http://www.mphcycles.com/ to all above. and in Germany Stein-Dinse perhaps they have a deprtment in U.S. Most parts should be the same but the rocker covers perhaps you;ll have to discriminate that, what you want I'm sure they all know about since they deal with that all the time.
callison Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 If you have a Ducati dealer in Singapore, source the brake parts from him. Much cheaper. Probably the same for the spark plug cap.
vtwin Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Who is the Guzzi dealer in Germany that bought up all Piaggio's spares? this one? http://www.hmb-guzzi.de/html/teileangebot.htm
waspp Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 If your looking for used parts Reboot is one the best, I have purchased a number of parts from Pete M and have been very pleased with the price and the prompt delivery. http://www.rebootguzzispares.com/ Harpers moto guzzi now has repops of v11 foot controls, very well priced and you can actually get them pretty quick as opposed to waiting just short of forever for factory Guzzi http://www.harpermotoguzzi.com/ waspp

Do your clip-ons attach above or below the triple clamp? ( ealry bikes like the Sport attached below)
