Junkyard Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Just wanted to let you know #117 is in safe hands in Vermont USA. It is returing back to stock nicely before beginning a personalization by it's loving owner, ME Here is a nice pic of it on Thanksgiving day out in the sunshine. (Though it was about 35 deg F) As you can see I have this thing for special bikes.... that is my 1981 BMW r80 g/s PD. 60K miles this year. My wife rides a cute little 1990 Honda GB500 as well as a 1979 V50. We've got it bad. Happy Sunday Jon www.caravanbandb.com
Martin Barrett Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Welcome She looks stock from here - what mods have been done? There are some who'd say quite fitting a Tenni in the Junkyard
guzziownr Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Nice post and nice picture. A Vermont v11 Raid should be on our schedule. DW
Garsdad Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I've got its older sister, #116. Junkyard fodder, indeed. Anything less than a Tenni is just a LeMans!
Van Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Tenni's in the junkyard indeed!... ....really quite understandable all this Tenni envy..... sad that it comes across as --jealousy--tisk, tisk. and from such a fine fellow as Martin On the positive (Tenni side ) of things, welcome #117 !!!! and very glad to see that the bike has found an owner that can appreciate a fine and rare bike !! Cheers Van
Junkyard Posted December 1, 2006 Author Posted December 1, 2006 Tenni's in the junkyard indeed!... ....really quite understandable all this Tenni envy..... sad that it comes across as --jealousy--tisk, tisk. and from such a fine fellow as Martin On the positive (Tenni side ) of things, welcome #117 !!!! and very glad to see that the bike has found an owner that can appreciate a fine and rare bike !! Cheers Van Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It's needed since we're looking at snow this weekend, though I think we set a record for warm today??? Tenni envy I can understand it, I longed for a fancy black LeMans before I had the opportunity to aquire this truely rare beauty. And remember one man's trash is another man's treasure. Happy Thursday Junkyard
Martin Barrett Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 What mods did the previous owner do, and what are your plans Van, you take me out of context/misquote me. I do like the Tenni, I just couldn't do that much cleaning
