How do you pronounce Norge?

I'm hearing it's like 'Norway' with a hard 'G.'

 

Piaggio ( PEE-ahzgh'-oh) is asking us to ixnay on rhyming Norge with 'George.'

Alis Agostini says NORjay in which the "jay" is really understated and the whole word has a sing-song flair. A real Norwegian I know (only recently in the US) says his country's name is pronounced Norgeh in which the "geh" is only a little less stated than the "Nor" and the "geh" is neither "gay" nor "guh" but "geh"

 

Both could be correct, depending on how you look at it, but I think it must be proper to pronounce it the way the Italians would pronounce it.

It is kind hard to know what the proper thing to call it is.

Could just call it V12SP.

or

Since in Italian Norway is Norvegia, we could call it NORvehGeeea instead of NORjay...but that does not make alot of sense.

why couldn't they just call it a Falcone!!!!

Its "Nor-geh" not Norgay or Norjay or anything like that.....

 

Its pronounced with an open e like the one you find in the middle of "event".
