Sunday 12/3 the first Sunday of the month ride meets at Ortega Hwy.

Friday 8th, Saturday 9th, Sunday 10th, Long Beach Motorcycle show. Whatever you do, don't go to long beach on Sunday and miss the toy ride for the St. Clares Shelter

Sunday 12/10 Bill Ross' Toy Drive & Ride for St. Clares Shelter.

Hey Dave. Is Manzanita Ranch up in Julian still in business? Years back stopping there for cider was always the high point of a drive through the mountains. Sounds like you guys have some nice riding to look forward to.

Is that the big white barn with red letters saying Cider near Wynola road (not downtown Julian) with Apple orchards behind the barn?

If so, I think they are still in business, but they seem to keep odd hours....when I stop they are closed, but then when I blaze by, the doors are open and they have customers.

I noticed Mods v Rockers was one of the events- is that real?

Smart boys turning up on mirror clad Vespas wearing green parkas with roundels on their backs?

Fighting with greasy haired sideburned leather jacketed thugs from East London who arrive on crappy British singles pissing oil everywhere?

Is this an issue where Ratch and Dave finally join forces to throw the scooter boys off the pier, then race back to the caff for a mug of tea and a bacon sarnie together and argue about who is best- Eddy Cochrane or Jerry Lee Lewis?

No, I was hoping people would pop in and read what you posted.

I have been pretty unsuccessful getting San Diego Guzzi folk together for rides.

Notice three of the posters in this thread are from the UK and probably won't make any of the rides ):

John Z., Slowpoke and I tried to get together a few times...

Atleast I like to crosspost here and there to maximize who might see the post and show up.

I gave up on Topica MGNOC-SW.

I should see you, and hopefully others, this Sunday at Ortega Highway Lookout Cafe :bier:

Dave, thanks again. I'll stop saying that soon. :bike: Do you think you can Ride up to the LookOut via my route? Mouse seems to be willing to meet at San Juan. What's your plan?

Of course John Z is a Good Friend and there is more to Him then that. But as far as going out on rides with a group, I don't need to know more. None of us do.

Lets get out there to simply enjoy the beautiful SoCal scenery and other Guzzi's.
