JoeV11 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Anybody know the phone number for March Motors in East Windsor CT? I want to bring mine in for service but it's an hour drive so I need to call first. Google and Yahoo yellow pages don't list them. Thanks, Joe
Ouiji Veck Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 (860) 623-7795 Marsh MC They have NO web presence that I could see. I oughtta talk to 'em about that. No wonder a guy I know can't get his Coppa fixed.
JoeV11 Posted February 17, 2007 Author Posted February 17, 2007 I finally got up there with my bike; met Al the owner, and Eric the service manager. Great guys, they certainly know their Guzzi's. They will be doing the initial service, plus fixing a leaky fork leg and tank suck (tipover valve) problem, plus checking the charging system & ECU current. While it's there, I'm having them install a Stucchi crossover and remove the canister. Eric spoke highly of the Stucchi, said it really brings up the midrange. Can't wait for Spring!!! Joe
Ouiji Veck Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Yea...they're very old school Guzzi. Next time your there give 'em a little nudge towards this forum... I don't even know if they know what a "forum" is. There's a lot of history there. http://www.motorcyclemuseum.org/halloffame...page.asp?id=222 My bike is half ripped apart for a 30K mi freshing ...maybe see ya in the spring.

JoeV11 Posted February 17, 2007 Author Posted February 17, 2007 Very intersting about Freddy Marsh - reminds me of another old bike dealer, Sonny DeFeo in New York. My father bought my first bike there - I think it was a Moto Morini? Joe

My father bought my first bike there - I think it was a Moto Morini? Joe I grew up in Port Washington, New York, where Ghost Motorcycle was - and is - located. They have had legal troubles, apparently shorting the taxman. But the shop is back in its original location and open for business. A couple of years ago someone was racing on the vintage circuit at Gunstock wearing one of their t's. They have always carried all sorts of exotic Italica since back when. Sonny's still around the shop. They mostly sell vintage bikes and late model hard-to-find bikes at premium prices. I went to high school with a bunch of the DeFeos, all riders...
