OK... I took the Sport out for a little spin today. Something around 40 miles. There are some nice backroads leading South out of my neighhourhood. I decided to run down to this old place called Tatum Spring. People who live up in the hills and don't have reliable wells still get water from this spring. I wish I knew more about the story of the place, but I've been unable to find much out.

It's an old farming community on the Middle Fork of the White River here in NW Arkansas. There is quite an infrastructure here, so the spring was a place of importance to the community...

I pushed the bike out into the sun for a few minutes before firing it up...

Nice curvy county roads. They're a little dirty right now. I tucked and slid the front end a couple times today even though I was taking it easy. I can't wait 'til Spring rains wash away the grime!

It's only a quick 20-minutes to Tatum Spring. The water is coming out of a pool. The spring house can bee seen in the background.

Tatum Spring is right on the highway. Many people probably drive by and never know about the place. It's always a cool place to stop in the summertime.

After a short walk around the springs, I headed back for home. The sun is out today and the temp is around 50-degrees. A brisk breeze is blowing, making it seem cooler.

Back home. It was a nice hour of stretching the Sport's legs.

Just one of the most beautiful bikes ever made! [Altho' I am somewhat partial to the lemony yellow version my friend PEter Coronado used to own... maybe it's because it was the 1st Guzzi I ever got to ride?]

Love the billet porkchops, especially: does anyone out there in v11LM-land know if the billets are 100% interchangeable with the late production red casties? I could really go for some of those to dress up my 2003...

The V11 Sport/LeMans porkchops are wider at the bottom than the Daytona/Sport 1100 porkchops.

Probably on the order of half an inch.

The width difference is very noticeable when switching back and forth between the two machines.
