jrt Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Well, a great job opportunity came up for my wife, so we're leaving our work here at Iowa and moving to St. Louis. Should be interesting. Any Le Mans riders in SL? I have a few questions about the city.... Also, a large garage is on the shopping list, so if anyone happens to be passing though, they'll have a place to stay.
pete roper Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 St. Louis is a great town. I loved it, even though I diodn't actually meet anyone there Leo, the Convert Nutter, live there I think. Look him up, he'll know what's what. Pete
Guest geno929 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Hey! Welcome to St.Louis. Great city and getting better. There are some awesome roads just south and west of the city. Good schools and lots of nice neighborhoods to live in. And yes, you can find a 2 or 3 car garage fairly easy! I've been here since 85, and have no plans to leave. Geno. GO CARDS!!!!!!!
jrt Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 well, thanks guys- Geno, I'll have to have you over for a glass of wine when we get down there. If I see any convert nutters, I'll be sure to dodge 'em. From what I've learned, St. Louis is a pretty nice place- I can see why people like it. It'll be a big change for us, but for the best, I'm sure.
Orson Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 http://www.teddrewes.com/Drewes.asp That's all you need to know I have a good friend who's a St.Louis native and he showed me around a few of the places. He took me to an excellent Italian restaurant in the Italian part of the town. Sadly, I can't remember the name of it. From the outside, you couldn't even tell it was a restaurant. Maybe if you ask around, someone can identify it.
